Story Arcs and Sessions

Once/if you reach the rebellion's stronghold alive, you will have the opportunity to suggest and vote for story arcs. This vote will shape the sessions to come, pushing the overall story forward. Once the story arc has been chosen, we will use as many sessions as necessary to complete said story arc. Some may take place over one or 2 sessions, others may take 6 or so. Each session will have an objective which must be completed in order to acquire a session point.
An example of this in action:
Story Arc: The party votes to raid shipping between Manwa and a mining operation on it's largest moon.
1. Session 1: Objective: Reach the planet safely
a. This session involved roleplay and planning the operations that would be undertaken when the party arrived. They decided to set up an outpost on one of the
smaller moons, and target specifically vessels leaving the moon at first, in order to take the riches they hold. After striking at one or two of these vessels, the
party would attempt to intercept an official, stealing some documents before escaping.
Possibility of random space encounters.
2. Session 2: Objective: Establish Base of operations
a. The party discover and clear out a small lakeside cavern which will act as their base of operations for the raids.
3. Session 3: Objective: Successfully raid a mining vessel
a. The party ambush a cargo vessel, stealing what they can carry and scuttling the ship.
4. Session 4: Objective: Second raid
a. The party come up against much heavier resistance and manage to escape with their lives.
OBJECTIVE FAILED: NO SESSION POINT
5. Session 5: The party target an official's ship and manage to infiltrate while combat distracts the crew. They successfully steal papers which detail a possible attack on a secret human town surviving on the surface of Cemen.
In this format, session logs become critical to success. My advice would be that one person from each session write a SINGLE PARAGRAPH summary for the next group of players to review.
Feedback is welcome as always

100% behind this, would go a long way to get invested and avoid just a series of one shots.
